La Trappe Isid

The beer poured with a thick white head while the body was brown with golden highlights. I could smell alcohol and fruit hanging out with some malt.  The beer tasted interesting with fruit, malt, apricot, pretzels, and alcohol. It had a very full feeling but I felt the taste of alcohol was to pronounced. This beer grew on me which was a good sign and as it warmed up I found it had more flavor. I probably drank it at too low of a temperature. I'll definitely try it again.

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
